2.3.1 Vegetation

The subwatershed is dominated by Lake Minnetonka.  Figure 5a and Figure 5b, land cover as classified by the Minnesota Land Cover Classification System (MLCCS), illustrate the wide variety of land cover types in the subwatershed.  Most of the subwatershed is fully developed, although the upper subwatershed includes some large agricultural and forested areas.   Wetlands are scattered throughout the subwatershed.
