2.4.1 Present Land Use

The subwatershed is nearly one-half covered with water.  Single family residential is the predominant non-water land use, with vacant or undetermined areas and park and open space (see Figure 7) also significant land uses.  Much of the vacant land is large wetland or woodland tracts or grass and shrubland.  Some large agricultural uses and forested tracts are present in the western subwatershed.
