2.4.1 Present Land Use

The predominant land use in the subwatershed is vacant or undetermined use, mainly large wetland or woodland tracts (see Figure 7).  Single family residential dominates the central and eastern subwatershed.  There is a commercial/industrial corridor along US Highway 12 in the City of Long Lake.  Some large agricultural parcels remain in the upper subwatershed, mainly row crops and hobby farms.
