- As described in section 2.5.6 and Figure 16 and Figure 17, the FAW concluded that most of the larger wetlands in the subwatershed were discharge or combination discharge/recharge. Opportunities to increase infiltration in the developed areas as well as developing areas should be explored to preserve that hydrology. A small groundwater-dependent tamarack swamp is present as part of a larger wetland complex at the Landscape Arboretum.
