Why do you think someone should volunteer their time?
I believe that is important to give back and contribute to the well-being of my community by using my skills and knowledge.  We can all do our part in making the world a better place for all people.

What is your favorite memory or experience in the Minnehaha Creek Watershed District?
I love working with the kids in Edina who use our stenciling kits.  They have such enthusiasm and love of nature. It is always rewarding to see how quickly they embrace good stewardship ideas.

What is your favorite outdoor place or natural area in the Minnehaha Creek Watershed District?
My husband Mike and I like to bike along Minnehaha Creek to the Mississippi River from Edina and then have dinner at Sea Salt. Having grown up here, it is amazing to see the many kinds of people at the falls enjoying this natural wonder.

Do you have any other experiences in Minnehaha Creek Watershed District you'd wish to share?
I am always in awe of our many parks and trails in Minneapolis. We live in such a beautiful city that values our many lakes. I believe that this abundance of outdoor nature experiences really makes for a healthier and happier life.
