The MCWD is reviewing the following permit application. MCWD Rules require notice to all property owners within 600' of the proposed permitted area as a courtesy, in the event there are any questions or concerns.
17-020: Michael Guyette has applied for a Minnehaha Creek Watershed District permit for Streambank Stabilization for a bioengineering stabilization project located at 4612 Edgebrook Place, Edina. The project would result in approximately 135 feet of hard armoring in conjunction with native plant establishment for soil stabilization, erosion control, and enhancement of local biodiversity. Native plants along shorelines help to increase water quality and are important for a balanced urban ecology. The shoreline affected is on Minnehaha Creek within the Mill Pond Reservoir.
