Level 2 Winter Maintenance Training

Thursday, March 30, 2017
Start Time:
8:00 AM
End Time:
1:00 PM
Location:
City of Edina Public Works (7450 Metro Blvd, Edina)

This FREE training is designed for winter maintenance leadership: managers, supervisors, business owners and other lead staff. During the class, attendees are shown how to best use a new, web-based assessment tool (WMAt). The training also explains the steps required for your organization to become Level 2 MPCA certified.

The WMAt allows organizations to review their past, present and future winter maintenance practices. The maintenance practices are color-coded to show which practices can help you come more efficient and reduce salt use. You will be able to use the tool to create a series of reports. These reports can be used for internal training and budgeting, as well as for communicating with public officials or others involved in the funding of maintenance work.

Morning refreshments and lunch will be provided. Please bring a laptop to work on during class. Learn more and register HERE
