Are you in the District?
Minnehaha Creek Watershed District includes all or part of 27 cities and two townships in Hennepin and Carver Counties.
There are several ways to determine if you are in the MCWD:
- MCWD Permitting Map - Note the first search function on the left side of the page will only find properties with MCWD permits; however, the second search tool will find any location. The red line denotes MCWD boundary.

- Hennepin County Property Information Search Page - Upon successfully searching for your location, if the value of the Watershed field is 3, you are within the MCWD.
- Carver County's Property Search Pages currently do not denote watershed district. Please call Carver County at 952-361-1500 with a Parcel ID number or address and they can provide watershed district information. To find a Carver County Parcel ID number please visit:

- Hennepin County Property Information Search Page - Upon successfully searching for your location, if the value of the Watershed field is 3, you are within the MCWD.
