The MCWD Board of Managers is considering MCWD permit application 19-170 as described below and is scheduled to take action on permit at the meeting site listed above on June 13th, 2019 at 7:00 P.M. MCWD Rules require notice to all property owners within 600' of the proposed permitted area as a courtesy, in the event there are any questions or concerns.

19-170: Brad Searl has applied for a Minnehaha Creek Watershed District permit for Erosion Control, Floodplain Alteration, and a Variance from the required 2’ of freeboard from the low opening of a structure from the 100-year floodplain (931.5’ for Lake Minnetonka) for the demolition of the existing home located at 4800 Northern Road and a proposed addition to the home located at 4798 Northern Road in the City of Mound. There will be no loss in floodplain storage and the applicant has requested a variance to provide 1.6’ of freeboard from the low opening of the addition to the 100-year floodplain to match the low floor elevation of the existing home located at 4798 Northern Road.
