Permit #25-053: 53rd x York Ave

The Minnehaha Creek Watershed District (MCWD) is currently reviewing a permit application for a project at 53rd St W and York Ave S, Minneapolis. The project, proposed by the City of Minneapolis, involves the upsizing of storm sewer pines, construction of 4 underground storage systems, construction of a new sewer inlet, and the reconstruction of the existing sluiceway from York Ave S to the Minnehaha Creek.

MCWD reviews for compliance only with applicable MCWD rules. This project triggers MCWD’s Erosion Control, Shoreline and Streambank Stabilization, Floodplain Alteration, and Waterbody Crossings and Structures rules. The city, county, or another public agency may require other permits or approvals.
