Permit #25-169: Shorewood Fiber Optic Installation

The Minnehaha Creek Watershed District (MCWD) is currently reviewing a permit application for a project across the city of Shorewood. The project, proposed by Midcontinent Communications (Midco), involves providing fiber optic service to all parcels within the city and includes horizontal directional drilling underneath wetlands and streams.

MCWD reviews for compliance only with applicable MCWD rules. This project triggers our Erosion and Sediment Control and Waterbody Crossings and Structures Rule. The city, county, or another public agency may require other permits or approvals.
