Permit #25-170: Fiber Optic Installation in Mound

The Minnehaha Creek Watershed District (MCWD) is currently reviewing a permit application for a project across the City of Mound. The project, proposed by Midcontinent Communications (Midco), involves horizontal directional drilling underneath streams and wetlands to place fiber optic internet cable.

MCWD reviews for compliance only with applicable MCWD rules. This project triggers our Erosion and Sediment Control and Waterbody Crossings and Structures Rules. The city, county, or another public agency may require other permits or approvals.
