Permit #26-039: Xcel Energy Transmission Line Improvements

The Minnehaha Creek Watershed District (MCWD) is currently reviewing a permit application for a project along the Xcel Energy 0735 STB-MND right-of-way in Minnetrista and Mound. The project, proposed by Xcel Energy, involves the removal and replacement of 147 existing transmission line poles.

MCWD reviews for compliance only with applicable MCWD rules. This project triggers our Erosion Control, Floodplain Alteration, and Waterbody Crossings and Structures Rules. The city, county, or another public agency may require other permits or approvals.
