Permit #26-083: Lake Nokomis Shoreline Stabilization

The Minnehaha Creek Watershed District (MCWD) is currently reviewing a permit application for a project at 1501 54th Street East, Minneapolis. The project, proposed by Hennepin County, involves the repair of an existing failing retaining wall with riprap along Lake Nokomis at the areas adjacent to the north and south bridge abutments of the Cedar Avenue bridge.

MCWD reviews for compliance only with applicable MCWD rules. This project triggers our Shoreline Stabilization and Floodplain Alteration Rules. The city, county, or another public agency may require other permits or approvals.
