The Minnehaha Creek Watershed District (MCWD) is currently reviewing a permit application for a project at 6001 Penn Ave S, Minneapolis. The project, proposed by Richard and Kurt Bohnen, involves reconstructing the parking lot at the existing gas station.

MCWD reviews for compliance only with applicable MCWD rules. This project triggers MCWD’s Stormwater Management rule and implementation of a best management practice is required. The project is reducing impervious surface on site, meeting this requirement. The city, county, or another public agency may require other permits or approvals.
