Permit #26-007: City of Orono Fiber Optic Installation

The Minnehaha Creek Watershed District (MCWD) is currently reviewing a permit application for a project within the City of Orono. The project, proposed by Midcontinent Communications (Midco), involves the construction of a fiber optic network via horizontal directional drilling throughout the City of Orono.

MCWD reviews for compliance only with applicable MCWD rules. This project triggers and meets our Erosion Control and Waterbody Crossings and Structures rules. The city, county, or another public agency may require other permits or approvals.
